Downtown Saskatoon on the South Saskatchewan River
Had to kill some time before breakfast after dropping my wife off at the airport so captured this image just as the sun was about to come over the horizon.
This weekend I traveled to Ottawa and took a tour of the Legislative buildings.
It has been years since my last visit and it is a tour I would highly recommend.
I had fond memories of the Parliamentary Library and after all these years it didn’t disappoint.
I will be posting a few photos from this memorable trip to our nations capital.
Taken on a recent visit to our capital city Ottawa. I choose this angle of Parliament Hill because portions of the exterior structure and the grounds in front are being worked on and the scaffolding and tenting spoiled the look of these gorgeous buildings.
My brother was attending a conference in Ottawa and convinced me to join him there. We did a tour and walked the grounds and soaked up the history this monument has to offer to all Canadians and to anyone that comes to visit.
The architecture is amazing to behold and demands your attention throughout. My personal favorite area to visit is the parliamentary library. Words don’t do it justice. It is a must visit. I will post an image or two in the coming days.
Due to security we were only allowed to take photos on the second floor. This is where the bulk of the tour takes place.
Looking forward to returning to Ottawa.
